Community Pledges
I take the Refuat Hanefesh Pledge to open my heart to those with mental illness. I will seek to understand the illness and not judge or ignore. I will attempt to view mental illness in the same way as physical illness and increase my compassion. I commit to calling, preparing a meal, praying, listening or giving support in other ways to someone who is suffering from a mental illness.

Today I will try to Be Kind to others cause You Never Know What Someone Is Going Through. There is something I’ve learned firsthand. No matter how someone looks or acts, you truly never know what’s happening in their lives. Now, whenever I get frustrated or annoyed with someone’s actions, I remind myself that I don’t really know what’s going on in their life. I try to take a breath, say a little prayer to Hashem, not take it personally, and trust that they are doing the best they can. SendingUallLOVE
